About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our insurance and financial services agency. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy building relationships, helping customers protect their futures, and working in a supportive team environment. Whether you are experienced in sales or looking to transition from another field, this position offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products
- Conduct sales presentations and explain product features and benefits clearly
- Follow up with leads and referrals in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet agency sales goals
- Participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote the agency
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales goals
- Ability to learn and explain insurance and financial products
- Reliable transportation to attend meetings and community events
- Comfortable using phone, email, and sales management software
- Previous sales experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Must obtain a Property & Casualty License as well as a Life & Health License.
Compensation
Flexible base pay range $16-$18 plus commission-based pay structure with opportunities for bonuses and advancement.
Compensation $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
